The Environmental Cost Indicator (ECI) offers insights into the environmental impact of a product or material based on its Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA). A product with low environmental costs is better than a product with high environmental costs.

The Material Circularity Index (MCI) indicates how circular the raw materials and waste flows are of a product or material. A higher percentage of recycled or re-used source materials and a lower percentage of waste gives a higher circularity index. A higher circularity index is better.
